Complementary Practices

After doing the sexual energy warm-ups, the complementary practices can be added to enhance both our awareness of our sexual chi and its cultivation.

NEUTRAL PRACTICE

This is the practice of stopping and doing a non-judgmental scan of where we are at on all levels of our body, mind, emotions and spirit. This enables us to track if and when an emotional or physical reaction to the practice might occur. Developing a way to witness our reactions during practice is essential as many of us instinctively stop when we feel pain (emotional or physical) or go into the energy of the imbalance instead of using those experiences to inform us of when we may need to do our own self-healing.

Self-healing is a major component of the Jade Goddess teachings. It plays a vital role in increasing our capacity to be fully independent, alive and succulent. As sensual women cultivating our practice, we become aware that, contrary to popular belief, a man or partner is not solely responsible for our orgasm, but that we ourselves are fully orgasmic beings able to share our orgasmic energy at will.
